At TAN TAN, we recently had the pleasure of handling production services for a two-day commercial shoot in Mallorca, collaborating with Jacamo and TBWA Manchester. The campaign featured rugby star Courtney Lawes, with filming based at a stunning beachside hotel in Alcudia.

This shoot is a great example of the kind of commercial filming in Mallorca that blends performance, style, and sunshine. With Mallorca’s famously reliable winter light, we captured an effortlessly relaxed summer atmosphere.

From Hotel to Pop-Up Beach Bar

The team transformed a section of the hotel into a temporary photo studio, complete with colourama backdrop, making the most of time with the models by capturing both video and stills in one setup. The kit included the ARRI Alexa Mini paired with Cooke S4/i lenses. We also used scubacam for underwater shots, offering fresh creative angles for the brand’s swimwear and beachwear.

Day two shifted towards a beach setup. Our art department built a pop-up beach bar lit with hanging bulbs, creating a warm and inviting backdrop for the evening wear collection.
