On Location with Nico Santos: Mallorca Music Video Production

We recently supported the Mallorca music video production for two cinematic videos by German singer-songwriter Nico Santos: Would I Lie to You and End of Summer. Both projects were filmed entirely on the island and showcase the diverse landscapes and production possibilities Mallorca has to offer, from cliffside vistas to remote quarries. TAN TAN provided full local production service on behalf of 100 Black Dolphins and Universal Music Germany, managing everything from location scouting and permits to crew, cast, transport, vehicles, and equipment.

Over the course of several days, we covered a wide range of locations, including:

• A traditional bullring

• A jetty at sunrise

• A town square in a historic village

• A quarry, where we mounted LED lighting on a drone to illuminate Nico from above in night shots

• A small, old church tucked into a hillside

• Winding dirt and mountain roads

• A country house

• A sunset cliffside overlooking the Mediterranean
